SUMMARY:

Responsible for providing Beverage service to all Casino customers in an efficient, courteous and professional manner displaying a high standard of Customer services.

  • Responsible for prompt, efficient and courteous beverage service to customers in accordance with company policies, procedures and standards.
  • Performs necessary tasks to service customers, i.e.; taking and filling all beverage orders and assisting in maintaining customers gaming area in a clean and neat manner.
  • Monitors customer needs on a continual basis ensuring all beverage requests will be promptly fulfilled.
  • Performs Bartenders, Supervisors, and pertinent casino employees in producing a smoothly and efficiently run operation.
  • Responsible for maintaining a consistent and regular attendance record.
  • Maintains assigned area for cleanliness.
  • Assists other beverage personnel with maintenance (side work, opening/closing duties) as necessary.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to work with mathematical concepts. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Ceramic Beverage Server

The noise level in the work environment can be moderate. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases to loud.

BASIC FUNCTION(the primary purpose of this position):
The primary function of the Casino Beverage Server is to provide beverage service to casino patrons. The servers will routinely and continuously canvass the casino and solicit drink orders. The server will service the areas of slots, poker, 21 and other casino gaming departments as assigned.

Casino Beverage Server Duties


PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• The Casino Beverage Server will utilize a tray as provided to carry and serve beverages.
• It is the responsibility of each server to ensure those adequate levels of beverage inventory and related materials are stocked on hand. The server will restock in preparation for the oncoming shift and maintain safe and sanitary conditions on the beverage tray.
• Greet guests in a professional manner.
• Maintain alcohol awareness at all times and communicate this with the bartender.
• Promote a clean, safe, healthy and friendly work environment for employees and guests; report and direct safety issues to Safety Committee.
• Other duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS (objective educational or technical training required; skills; and years of experience):
• The Casino Beverage Server must be 21 years of age in order to serve beverages in the casino to class III customers
• The Casino Beverage Server must posses excellent customer service skills, be team oriented and self-motivated.
• Organizational skills on a personal level and the ability to work in a fast paced environment are necessary.
• The Casino Beverage Server must speak and understand English.
• Must have ability to obtain valid OLCC and food handler permit
